Arjay Parker
Arjay Foster began practicing Bikram-style yoga in November of 1998, and completed the Bikram training in May of 2002. Her yoga practice began as an answer to taking a sedentary computer job after a lifetime of outdoor sports and demanding, active work.

I took my first Bikram yoga class in August of 2001 when I was a sophomore in college. At the time I was dealing with a lot in my life and yoga was a way for me to clear my mind and clean myself emotionally, physically and mentally from the inside out, and I was fascinated with the science of mind/body connection that I had been introduced to in my first yoga class.
Chris Gray
I started Bikram in 2002 as a New Year’s resolution and haven’t stopped. I thought that I’d get in shape, improve my posture and get a break from the gym routine.
Liz Jonas
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Liz took her first Bikram class in San Francisco in 2005, hoping to get in shape. She wasn’t aware of how crucial the yoga was to her well-being until moving to a rural Austrian village, where the nearest studio was a two hour bus ride away.
